Personal Data Protection Notice (PDPA)
ENPRO TEKNOLOGI SDN BHD and ENPRO ENERGY SDN BHD (collectively referred to as “ENPRO”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your Personal Data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709) of Malaysia.
This Personal Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) explains how ENPRO collects, uses, processes, stores, retains, discloses and safeguards your Personal Data when you interact with us through our business activities, website, products and services.
For the purposes of this Notice, “Personal Data” means any information relating directly or indirectly to an individual who is identified or identifiable from that information, whether on its own or in combination with other information in ENPRO’s possession or likely to come into ENPRO’s possession, which may be collected, received, recorded, compiled, processed, used and/or maintained by ENPRO from time to time.

We have collected and will collect your personal data to be processed by us and/or on your behalf in the course of your present or future dealings with ENPRO. Where personal data is collected or processed by us, we shall be responsible for the processing of such personal data in accordance with applicable law and this Notice.

Depending on the nature of your interaction with ENPRO, we may collect and process Personal Data including, but not limited to:

- Project, enquiry and transaction-related information;
- Correspondence and communication records;
- Website enquiry information; and
- Any other Personal Data voluntarily provided or lawfully obtained for legitimate business purposes.
Purpose of Processing

- Preparing quotations, tenders, proposals and contracts;
- Providing products and services;
- Managing projects and business relationships;

ENPRO may collect personal data through lawful and appropriate means, including:

- Through our website, online enquiry forms and other digital platforms;
- When you request information, quotations, proposals or other assistance;
- Through contracts, purchase orders and other business documents;
- During meetings, discussions and business communications;
- During project meetings, site visits, inspections and other project-related activities;
- From your employer, company or organisation where you act as its representative;
- From customers, project owners, consultants, engineers, contractors or other project stakeholders;
- From suppliers, business partners and other third parties with whom we have dealings;
- From our authorised service providers, agents and professional advisers; and
- From publicly available sources, where permitted by applicable law.
Disclosure of Personal Data
Where necessary for legitimate business purposes or where required or permitted by law, ENPRO may disclose your Personal Data to:
- Authorised employees and representatives;
- Customers, project owners and business partners;
- Consultants, contractors and suppliers;
- Professional advisers and service providers;
- Related companies within the ENPRO Group; and
- Government authorities, regulatory bodies or law enforcement agencies collectively, referred to as the “Recipients”.
ENPRO will take reasonable steps to ensure that the Recipients handle and/or treat your Personal Data in a secure and confidential manner. ENPRO take every measure to provide a comparable level of protection for Personal Data should the information be processed by the Recipients.
Security of Personal Data
ENPRO maintains reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data against unauthorised access, collect, use, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss or destruction or other forms of unauthorised processing.
ENPRO also implements appropriate security features and access controls to prevent unauthorised access where possible.
While ENPRO takes reasonable measures to safeguard Personal Data, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Transfer of Personal Data Outside Malaysia
ENPRO conducts business with customers, suppliers and business partners across the Asia-Pacific region.
In the course of our business activities, Personal Data may, where necessary, be transferred to, disclosed to or accessed by authorised recipients located outside Malaysia.
Where Personal Data is transferred outside Malaysia, ENPRO will take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfer is carried out in accordance with applicable Malaysian personal data protection laws and requirements and ensure that the recipient located outside Malaysia provides a level of protection comparable to that required under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and applicable regulations.
Your Rights
Subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and applicable laws, you may have rights in relation to your Personal Data held or processed by ENPRO, including the right to:
- Request access to Personal Data held by ENPRO about you;
- Request correction of any inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or outdated Personal Data;
- Withdraw your consent where the collection, use or processing of your Personal Data is based on consent;
- Limit processing of your Personal Data;
- Request information regarding the collection, use and processing of your Personal Data;
- Exercise such other rights as may be available under applicable personal data protection laws.
Changes to this Notice
ENPRO reserves the right to amend or update this Notice from time to time. The latest version published on this website shall supersede all previous versions.
